Arohi's POV:

My husband is an impossible man. I had a really hard time hiding the hickeys he gave me last night, and today again he gave me a hickey.

Uhh it's so not easy to hide those big bites. After breakfast I had to rush into my room and hide the new one. I did it all in a rush and I'm not even sure if it is hidden properly or not, hufffff.

I still remember his words from last night. Those words made my heart lose a beat. I don't know if he feels something for me or not. If we have a bright future or not. But I just want the time to stop here itself. I want to keep this moment with me forever.

This doesn't mean I've forgotten his past words. I remember it and those words hurt like a bitch. But I can't deny that he is not the same as before.

Yes, we still have arguments and fights, but he doesn't call me with names anymore...

I was so lost in my thoughts that I collided with a wall. Wait there isn't any wall here!! I looked up to see a smirking Sameer.

Ohh mother earth, please open up and swallow me. His smirk clearly tells that he saw Mr. Mehra.

"Where are you lost Mrs. Arohi Abhishek Mehra" I so want to erase that stupid smirk.

"Sameer!! Lower you voice. You know no one knows" I said sushing him "And where is Riti? I haven't seen her for past 2 days"

"I don't know, she isn't coming to the college. And when I called she said that she's busy with something" he said shurgging.

I nodded and we went to our class. The day was so hectic. But still I took some time to thick about my devil husband. Umm I'm thinking of changing his name from devil to something else.

See he doesn't behave like a devil anymore na... (smiling sheepily)

My phone pinged with a message. I checked to see it's Riti.

Riti👻 - can I stay at your place for a some time?

I was confused reading her text. There is something that's troubling her. I need to see her. So without any other thought I said yes.

Riti👻 - Don't tell Sameer please. Will tell you everything later.

I agreed and texted her my address. I know that I should ask Mr. Mehra first, but I have a feeling that something is not right.

Me and Sameer we did our assignments together, and then I left for home.

I reached home and got changed into something comfortable. I was going downstairs when the elevator pinged open. And there comes Mr. Devil all laughing with someone.

I climbed down to see a handsome man coming with him. Well he looks good but not as much as my husband.

I looked at the duo and they stopped seeing me.

"Hello bhabhi so nice to meet you. I am Varun Oberoi, your husband's best friend"

I was shocked as to know that this man knows about our marriage, but then again as he said, he is my husband's best friend. So yeah he must be knowing.

"Nice to meet you" I shook hands with him.

"I must say you're way more beautiful than I imagined. I don't know how you end up with this sulking man" he said in a flirtous tone, making me laugh. I could feel his eyes burning holes in me, but I cared less.

"Please have a seat" I said to both and they moved to the sitting area. Mr. Mehra handed me his blazer and kissed my forehead.

I was dumbfounded. It's so not usual of him. He would never do that, not even in front of our families, then why in front of his friend. Am I smelling jealousy?

"Man go to your room" Varun said teasingly.

I quickly went to the kitchen to get water and could hear them whispering something, and he was looking at Varun, no not looking but glaring.

"Bhabhi can I have your famous coffee? I have heard a lot about it from this annoying man" he said giving looks to his friend.

I was shocked to know that he talks about me. I looked at him only to see him glaring at Varun. I shook my head and entered kitchen to prepare coffee for them. I also asked Mrs. Annie to prepare some snacks.

I served them snacks and coffee and then settled with them on Varun's insistence and he was talking to me. And I must tell you he's a really great person. He was telling about their college times and I was a laughing mess.

I could see Abhishek twisting his face in annoyance and was sulking. I checked the time and wow we're sitting here for past hour. Riti should have come till now.

I tried calling her but she wasn't picking up the call. I frowned, what's with this girl.

"What happened?" Abhishek asked.

"My friend, she said that she's coming here, but she's not here yet. And now not picking up the call" I called her again.

"Don't worry she must be stuck in traffic" Varun said in a comforting tone. He changed the topic to something else to divert my mind.

My phone went off with her call. I picked up and she said that she's downstairs. I told her to give the call to the guard, I told him to send her up.

A minute later the elevator opened revealing Ritika. Her eyes were puffy and she looked pale. I rushed to her and she hugged me breaking down.

She was crying like no tomorrow making me worried. I looked back at Abhishek and Varun and they have a  concern over their faces. I tried to calm her down but nothing worked. Now she's scaring me more than earlier. Something definitely is worng.

"A..Aru" she tried to say something but nothing was coming out.

I took her to the sitting area and made her sit. Mrs. Annie bought water and she drank with a lot of difficulty.

"Riti please calm down and tell me what happened?" I am gonna cry now. I can't see her like this. She is the jolly one in our group and seeing her like this is breaking me.

"He..he" she took long breath "He cheated on me Aru. He even abused me and forced me for.." saying she broke into more tears.

I was shocked. I looked at the other too, they were also shocked. I took her into a hug and she cried and cried.

After a lot of comforting she stopped crying. I wiped the tears off her face and Mrs. Annie bought a glass of juice.

"Calm down Ritika. It's okay, everything is okay" Abhishek said giving her the glass.

"Tell me what and how this happened" I asked once she finished the juice and was calm now.

"I went to his house after the event that day and I found him having sex with some other girl. When they saw me, the girl she wore her clothes and left the house. I looked at him and started shouting on him. He did wrong and then he started giving explanations" she took a long breath as if telling us the further is worse.

"He said that he wanted physical but I was not ready to give him so to satisfy his needs he did it all. I shouted on him telling him how bad of a person he is, but that enraged him. He.. he started saying bad about me, my family and everyone. When I raised my hand to slap him he took hold of my hand and twisted it badly. He picked me up and threw me on his bed and started forcing me. He.. he hit me when I was trying to get out of his hold" tears were coming out of her eyes continuously.

"What he did then" Abhishek asked. Anger was clearly visible in his eyes and the way he was gritting his teeth. Same was the case with Varun. They both were trying their best to hold their anger and not to go and destroy that bastard.

"He.. he raped me" she said and I hugged her tightly. No no she doesn't deserve this. She's a pure soul. I want to rip that man off. How dare he do this to my best friend.

She took a long breath and continued "Not once or twice but again and again until the beast inside him was satisfied. He kept me captivated for 2 days and used me like a fuck doll. And when he was satisfied he kicked me out of the house. All the while he didn't let me eat, drink or rest for a minute. He was just fucking me like broken record"

She looked at us with teary eyes "I didn't want to be somewhere he can find me. I don't want to go back to the torture please. I don't want to go near him" she cried more.

"You don't have to go anywhere. You'll be staying here in our home with us okay." Abhishek touched her shoulder and she hissed.

Abhishek colsed his eyes to control his anger. "Bhabhi you take Ritika to your room. I'm calling the doctor"

I made Ritika stand. She's so weak that she's not even able to stand properly. That bastard made her so vulnerable.

I took her to my room and gave her some clothes. She went to the washroom to change. Soon the doctor came and examined her and treated her wounds and prescribed medicines. She injected something so that she will sleep but told us to take proper care of her.

I pulled the duvet over her and left the room. I went out to see Abhishek and Varun standing with concern faces.

Abhishek took me in his embrace and the tears I was holding back finally flew.

"Don't worry bhabhi we'll make that bastard pay for this" Varun said in a dangerous tone. I looked at both of them and they nodded their head.

"I am sorry without asking you I called her over to stay. But I was feeling something is off and..." He cut me off in the mid.

"This is your home tooo and you can call anyone and do anything okay baby" he said kissing my forehead.

"It's good that you called her here bhabhi, at least she's not alone and we got to know the truth" Varun said.

"She's sleeping, doctor injected her. It's late you guys have something, I'll set the table"

We went downstairs and Mrs. Annie already have set the table. We settled and to have the food.

I don't feel like eating anything after everything. I was just playing with the food. I looked at the duo and they also had very little.

"I'll take a leave guys. Call me if anything" Varun said and we nodded.

I cleared everything and went to the living room. Abhishek was sitting there doing something. I went to him and sat on his lap, placing my head on his chest.

"Make him pay for everything Abhishek. I can't see Riti like this"

"He'll have to pay Aru. We'll make him pay. He messed with wrong people" she said kissing my forehead.
