Abhishek's POV:

Arohi was sitting on mylap, silent tears rolling down her eyes. I let her cry because I knew that she needs to be strong in front of Ritika.

No girl deserves to be treated this way. I met Ritika only once, on the day of event, and I could see the shine in her eyes, her jolly and bubbly nature. But the Ritika I witnessed just 2 days later is so so broken and vulnerable. Her eyes hold the fear of being used again.

I swear I'm going to make that bastard's life a living hell. I'll make him vanish in thin air and he will have to meet torture and the evil side of Abhishek Mehra.

I looked at Arohi, her head is on my chest and hands around my torso, crying silently. For the first time her silence is killing me.

We sat in silence. After some time she broke the silence "Abhi?" I hummed.

"Thank you" she said looking up. I raised an eyebrow as to know why. She chuckled and pecked my lips, taking me by surprise. "Thank you for supporting Ritika and letting her stay here"

I chucked and took her into a soft kiss. I left her when she was breathless, and she snuggled more into me. I held her close to me and a smile formed on my face.

We stayed like that for a long time. Me playing with her hairs and her playing with my ring.

"I'll go check on Riti" she said getting up.

I switched off all the lights and then went upstairs to her room. She was sitting there by her side caressing her hairs.

I went in and stood there. "You c-can sleep in m-my room if you want" I offered. But why am I stuttering.

She looked at me then at Ritika. She thought god knows what, then tucked her properly with the duvet and kissed her forehead.

"Umm.. I'll stay here, what if she needs something or wakes up at night" I nodded and went to my room.

I changed my clothes and was sitting on the bed when my phone went off with Varun's text.

Varun - Everything good?

Me - Yeah.

Varun - Ask bhabhi for some details about that fucker, we need to find him.

Me - I'll ask her tomorrow.

I kept my phone aside and laid down. I don't know when I slept.

I got up and went to check on Arohi. I opened her door and found both of them sleeping. Turning the door close I went to hit the gym.

After gym I went for a shower. When I came out Arohi was there taking out my clothes.

"How's Ritika?" I asked taking my shirt.

"She woke up some time ago. But she's not saying anything" she said with a sigh.

We can't even imagine what she must be going through, all we can do is support her and be there for her. Looking at Arohi, I can tell that she didn't sleep properly. She must be awake the whole time, waiting for her to wake up, but then eventually fall asleep.

I pulled her in a hug "It's okay. She needs time. She went through a lot" she just hummed and snuggled into my chest.

"Breakfast is ready, come down" she said breaking the hug and I just nodded.

Arohi's POV:

I left his room and went to my room. Ritika was lying here with tears. I sat next to her wiped those tears.

"Come get up. Breakfast is ready" I sa gheeid caressing her cheeks.

"Aru.." I know what she's going to say but I can't let her suffer like this.

"Riti I know I can't even imagine what you're going through, but please listen to me na. You're weak and doctor has told you to take proper food and rest" she sighed and nodded.

I helped her getting up and gave her a dress and a new pair of undergarments, she took it and went inside the washroom.

Till the time she was inside, I cleaned the room. I am taking a day off, I can't leave her here alone.

She came out, looking fresh but still gloomy. I took her downstairs. I heard voices and then saw Varun and Abhishek standing near the elevator discussing something. They looked at our direction and smiled.

I settled her on the table and served her breakfast. I already informed Mrs. Annie to prepare aloo Paratha for her, it's her favorite, juice and fruits.

Abhishek and Varun settled on the other side and Mrs. Annie served them.

I looked at Ritika who was looking lost. I made a morsel and put it in front of her mouth. She looked at me  "If you don't eat yourself, I'm going to feed you" she opened her mouth and ate it.

Then she herself made next morself and eat it. We had our breakfast with Varun trying to ease the environment but nothing worked. She was still gloomy.

She was getting up when Abhishek said sternly "Ritika drink that juice and finish the fruits in the bowl"

She shivered at his voice. She silently drank the juice in a go and ate the fruits. I looked at him and mouthed 'thank you' to him.

"I have booked an appointment with the doctor for the check up. The appointment is for 10. You get ready, we'll leave after sometime" Abhishek said.

Oh god I forgot about it. We need to get her checked up properly.  It totally slipped out of my mind. Thank God Abhishek did made the arrangements.

"I'll inform Sameer ab.." Ritika cut me off in the mid

"N-no d-don't tell Sameer. Aru don't tell him anything. You know he'll loose his mind and do something stupid" she said panicking.

"Riti relax. I was just informing him that I am be coming to the college okay. Relax I won't tell him anything unless you want okay?" She just nodded.

We all had our breakfast, then we all left for the hospital, Varun also accompanied us but was in another car.

The doctor took Riti for examining her, while we were sitting in her cabin.

I was continuously tapping my foot on the floor. Abhishek kept his hand on my thigh, which sent jolts and too many butterflies to my whole body. I stopped it but he didn't remove his hand. I looked at him and he just winked me looking into my eyes.

"Wah wah ramji, jodi kya banai, bhaiya aur bhabhi ko, badhai ho badhai" Varun sang in a teasing tone making heat reach up cheeks.

The doctor came "Is she alright doctor? Anything serious?" I asked.

"Miss. She has some marks in her body, which will heal with time. As she said she had an unprotected sex due to which chances of pregnancy is high, so we have done a sonography. Luckily till now there is no trans of her being pregnant. So I will prescribe her the medicines"

"So there is nothing serious right doctor?" Varun asked making me and Abhishek turn towards him.

"Yes Mr. Oberoi everything is fine. Just she is too weak so you need to take proper care of her diet" she said.

"Okay we'll take care of it" Abhishek said to which she gave him a flirtous smile.

"Ritika is in the ward and here are her reports Miss." What's with her calling me miss miss.

"Feel free to call me Mrs. Abhishek Mehra" I said in extra sugar coated tone taking the reports from her. Her jaw dropped at the newfound information making me smirk.

I stood up holding Abhishek's hand and left her cabin. I could feel his eyes on me but I cared less and went to Ritika's ward.
