PART 36

Happy Reading!

Arohi's POV:

The ride to the farmhouse was fun. And the dress he gave me giggles it's so beautiful. Perfect for every occasion. Though these people  try to hide it from me, but I know that they are planning my surprise birthday party. Abhi is so not a good actor.

I am at awe when we entered the farmhouse. It's so beautiful. It doesn't scream luxury as Mehra Mansion or the penthouse. This simply says "HOME"

Ashika told me that this place was made my dadajji for dadi. When they first came to Mumbai they were nothing but just simple middle class people. They two worked day and night so hard to build the Mehra Empire. This farmhouse was the first gift dadaji gifted to his wife on her birthday. She turned this farmhouse into a cozy home. Everything here was bought by her and is still in the same place as set by her, everyone made sure of it, especially dadaji. Cute isn't it?

Their love was so pure and I can still see the shine in dadaji's eyes when he talks or remembers her.  Same with maa and papa and of course my mom and dad. Being surrounded by this love, I also want it. I want it all with Abhishek.

I am lost in my thoughts when two arms engulf me from back breaking my trans. I smile and lean back at his touch.

"Do you like it?" he asked pecking my hairs.

"I love it”

"Should I get you one for yourself?"

"Nothing would match this one"

"You know dadi gave it to mom and I am sure mom will give it to you. So do you wanna change something in here?"

I turn around in his hold and place my hands on his neck "Yeah I wanna change my husband" He frowned and I laughed "This is perfect. Nothing changes" and he gives away his million dollar smile.

"Wanna see around?" I nod.

Abhi not only showed me around but also shared memories of the place. Each and every corner is special with the memories he shared with his dadi. Being the first born he obviously was pampered a lot by his grandparents.

"You know when Ashi was 2, dadi and I were planting the lilies. She thought that dadi is playing with me so was got angry that dadi that she plucked out all the lilies and cried so hysterically. Gosh that was a nightmare. She didn't come to me or dadi, she was stuck to dadu the whole time for the next 3 days" we laughed and I could see the tears in his eyes remembering it.

"Aye don't laugh like this, she was just a child after all"

"Oh please you should have seen her. Her nose and cheeks turned red and she looked like a clown" he laughed so hard unaware of the same clown looking at him with pure fury.

"BHAI!" Ashi shouted and he stilled. He looked back at her and smiled sheepishly. In return she gave him a sarcastic smile and ran towards him.

They ran around the garden like children. Everyone laughed looking at them. This place for sure bought back their inner child. I am sure dadi must be smiling looking at their antics.

I looked at dadaji and he must be thinking the same as there are tears in his eyes. I go and hug him. He smiles and shakes his head in understanding.

"Okay stop both of you" Papa shouted and Abhi sighed only to get a punch from his sister.

"Ayee Ashi bad manners" I said. Of course how can I see him getting hurt.

"Ashu one from my side as well" Varun shouted and got a smack from Riti.

Sometimes I don't understand these two. Friends one moment and enemies in the very next. But yeah romantic me says they will make a really cute couple. What say?

"Okay kudos lets go inside and freshen up" mom said and everyone nodded.

Everyone's bags were already kept at their respective rooms. I am so excited to see Abhi's childhood room. He is so clever I am telling you, he showed me every room except for his room.

"Chale baby" he said keeping his hands on my shoulder. I narrowed my eyes at him and nodded. And he just chuckled. CHUCKLED!

We stopped in front of his door and he stood still. I looked up and saw him taking a long breath before opening the door. His eyes give away the memories and pain and the emotions related. It clicked me now that how difficult it must be for him. After all it was also prepared by his dadi.

We entered inside and as soon as the door closed I slammed my lips on his. A simple effort to take away his sorrows. He reciprocated almost immediately. Our tongues fought for dominance and I gave it away so easily. I let him do it.

He sucked my lower lip and a moan escaped my mouth. He doesn't kisses, he devours. Always  leaving me breathless. We stopped and touched our foreheads. "I love you" we said together and laughed and he hugged me.

After a while we broke the hug and then I looked what made him so emotional. This room is the best place of this whole house. The room is in blue color with white highlights. The room is cozy with all his childhood toys kept nicely in a glass almirah. A wall full of his childhood photos with everyone. There is this huge frame of just him and dadi on top of his bed. It's the cutest I have ever seen.

I didn't know when tears started flowing from my eyes until he wiped it away. His own eyes teary. I hugged him. It's as if I can feel the pain and the emotions he feels.

"This is the best of all" he hummed.

"You know all these cars were especially manufactured with my initials on dadi's order" he said referring to the car collection.

"She really loved you the most"

"Yes. I was the first and only child afterall"

"Yeah yeah. You go freshen up. You must be tired from the driving"

"Let's freshup together"

"Ewwww" I moved away from him "Dadi must be watching you. Have some shame, you shameful man"

He just smirked and pulled me closer "Oh then dadi must feel so happy when we will give her great-grandchildren"

My cheeks heated up and I lowered my gaze "What say Mrs. Mehra?"

"Oh yeah? Then what are we waiting for?" I asked and his smirk vanished replacing desires.

My lips parted and I gulped. His eyes followed my actions. He leaned to kiss me but urghhhhhhhh someone knocked on the door.

"Fucking hell" he muttered with gritted teeth and I giggled.

On opening the door, there stood the younger clan with smirks. "Did we disturb you guys?" they said altogether and trust me my cheeks are burning now. I just ran into the washroom and I can hear their laughs.

Oh god! It's just the first day. I don't know what all will happen in this trip. I am giddy and scared at the same time. Taking a deep breath I freshened up.
