As the morning sun cast its golden rays over the sprawling garden, a figure burst into view, his strides fueled by determination. With tousled hair he moved with an effortless grace. His gaze focused of reaching his destination.

Nikhil Verma. His aura dark and intimidating. His gaze can make anyone shudder. His perfect body enough to get any girl on their knees.

Taking a sip of his bottle he made his way inside the house which is his peace. The house radiated a comforting aura that whispered of home from the moment one laid eyes upon it. The house speak of years filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

He spotted his favorite person making her way into the temple. He checked his watch and ran into his room to shower. He was late as usual. He always looses the count of time when he is doing his morning run.

Getting ready into a navy blue suit with sky blue shirt and a printed tie, he made his way downstairs. He spotted his brother who was running towards the temple. They both chuckled and stood for the morning aarti.

"You both are late" Bhavika said eyeing them.

"Sorry sweetheart" they both said in unison making her laugh.

She shook her head and started the prayer "Radhe Krishna ki Jyoti Alokit" (from Vivaah movie)

The men as usual are mesmerized with her voice. They took arti and blessings from the god. And then headed to the dinning table.

"Nikhil you better come back on time and Saurabh you better wake up on time from tomorrow or else no food all day!"  Bhavika glared the two men who were busy discussing about some meeting.

"You didn't wake me on time" Saurabh whined

"Oh yeah" she rasied a brow "I woke you up then you again went back to your stupid dreamland"

"I will be back on time bhabhi"

Nikhil can be a man who can scare anyone but Bhavika is the only woman who can scare Nikhil with her one look. She is a year younger than him but she is strict as hell for the outer world but she is very soft and bubbly for her family. There is be a reason that their grandfather chose her to be the elder daughter in law of the family 😏.

Saurabh is the elder son of the house but he is not as serious as Nikhil is. The reason can be the early demise of their parents. Nikhil was in depression when his parents died and as a result he became a silent and a very reserved man. By the time he completed his studies he already excluded all his emotions.

He had a really hard time accepting Bhavika. But the way she took care of his family, especially his brother, she made her place in his life as his favorite person. He loves both his bhai-bhabhi the most. They both always team up against Saurabh and pull his leg a lot. Saurabh always says that he will take revenge when Nikhil's wife will come.  Bhavika also says that she will have a lot of fun with her devrani (sister-in-law).

But to their disappointment, he doesn't want to get married. Nikhil believes that no girl will fascinate him to marry her neither she will accept has family as her own. He has some real trust issues which are the impact of his past.

"Nikhil you know na that breakfast is the most important meal of the day?"

"Yes bhabhi you remind me almost everyday"

"Yeah but then also you don't listen to it properly and play with your food" she rolled her eyes.

"Sorry madam"

"Kya aap thoda dhyan apne pati pe bhi de sakti hai mauhtarma?" (Madam, can you pay some attention to your husband as well)

"Jealousy is not good bhai. Anyway everyone knows that your wife loves me more" Nikhil smirked

"You wife thief, go get a wife for yourself, why are you stealing mine huh" he said with a frown making the duo laugh. They hi-five each other.

"Saurabh you know that I love you right" Saurabh grinned at her words and kissed her cheeks.

"Ayee do your PDA somewhere else"

"Shut up and have your breakfast" Saurabh just rolled his eyes.

They had their breakfast with laughter then the brothers left for their office and Bhavika left for hospital. They all got engaged in their work for the whole day. Then in the evening they spent some time together and had their dinner.

The Verma family has a rule, everyone should have breakfast and dinner together. Being out or having events can be an exception. But if the members are present in home, they must have the meals together.
