Saanvi's POV:

Good morning my dear sweethearts. Such a beautiful day.  The flowers are blossoming and birds are chirping. The sun is set giving the light from the darkness. If you hear with concentration, you will hear the whistle of cookers from the houses. Isn't it the bestestttttttt day.

Oh you must be thinking why I am so happy today right. Areyy remember I told you about the internship. It is starting today and you know what. I got selected for internship at THE VERMA GROUP. The leading company of india and company of my dreams, hayeeee.

You know I was on cloud nine when I got their confirmation email. I was grinning and dancing like an idiot. Mahi and Arya looked at me like I have gone mad, which was umm partly true giggles. Oh and Mahi and Arya are my flatmates.

When I told them, Tara, Mayank and Yash about it, these devils emptied my pocket. Literally they ordered everything they found and I had to pay as it turned out I am giving them the happy party. Butches!!!!

Anyway, I am very very very happy. I woke up on time today, much to my own surprise. Did a little meditation and exercise. And then took shower. As mentioned in the mail, I have to wear proper formals with blazer, I took out my Black formal suit. But as you know everything can never go happily in my life. My white shirt was having a big stain at the front weeping

But I didn't let it ruin my mood, I took my white camisole and wore it under the blazer. And and and I look more beautiful. Yayyyy. I did a little makeup, applied liner and a pink glossy lip tint. Ta da I am ready. I wear my bracelet but you know what. I lost one of my butterfly. I literally cried when I noticed it. It is my favorite bracelet which I bought last year with my hard earned money.

Leave it, I took my formal handbag and kept all the necessary things, including my laptop. It is quite spacious to accommodate everything and is white in color.

I wore my heels and looked at myself in the mirror. Even after wearing heels, I look so tiny ☹️. My height is only 5 and I am the tiny baby of my group. I don't mind though. Because I am not tiny, I am cutie. I love myself the way I am.

Not getting love from people doesn't mean I will stop loving myself. I know I am not as confident as I should be, but I know how to carry myself with grace.

I sighed, no Saanvi no you are not spoiling your mood today!

I take my bag and go to the kitchen for some toast and omelet. Then after breakfast I leave for the office. And yeah Mahi and Arya fed me a spoonful of curd and sugar. No one ever did it for me. Their gesture warmed my heart..

After taking the bus I went directly to the Verma Group

The building itself screams power. Hey bhagwanji dhyan rakhna please please please (God please take care of everything)

I go to the reception and I saw a lady who looked like she is full of attitude. I gave her my joining letter that I got attached with the mail.

"Welcome to the Verma Group Miss. Saanvi. Please take the lift and go to the 6th floor, you will meet rest if the interns and the boss there" she replied very humbly. Ok never judge a book by its cover.

I take the lift and go to the 6th floor. I am bubbling with joy but it was short lived. I got a call from my family. Why just whyyyyy??????

As I have already reached the floor, I put my handbag on the chair and go to the farthest corner and pick up the call.

"Yes mom"

"You reached Saanvi" yeah I texted you the moment I reached mother, I wanted to scream

"Yeah. I am going now for the meeting right now"

"Hmmm be careful and reply what you know, don't try to be over confident ok" father replied. What am I a kid?

"Yes dad, I have to go now, will call later" they hummed and hung up the call.

Thank god they hung up the call without any further questions, or else I would have lost it. I feel my head a little dizzy, as if my nose will start bleeding any moment now. No no I won't let them or anyone ruin the best day.

I take deep breaths to calm myself down. Finally when I feel good I turn around only to clash with a wall and loose my balance.

A strong pair of hands circle around my waist to keep me stable and my heartbeat rose. I slowly open my  eyes to see the same hazel eyes with gold flecks.

I am seeing things right? It can't be the same jerk from yesterday. Tell me it's a dream. He makes me stand straight and I look up at him with blinking eyes.

"You can't walk straight can you?" He asks in a dangerously low voice making me shiver.

"I am sorry" because this time it was my mistake. Before he could snap me a man said from behind.

"Nikhil are you okay" a man in a grey suit asked. He just nodded and left, not before glaring me.

He didn't say anything today? Wow. Jerk. I turned around to see all the pair of eyes in me. Aa I guess that's why he didn't say anything. I smiled a little and went to my seat. My heartbeat still fast.

"So welcome inters. We all are glad to have you here" everyone clapped and I felt like someone is looking at me. I looked around and saw the jerk guy glaring at me. I glared back at him.

"I would like to call our COO, Mr. Nikhil Verma to come forward and explain you about the task" the man completed and the jerk guy stood up from his place. Wait whattttttttttttttttt!

You mean the guy I fought with yesterday is THE NIKHIL VERMA? This is a joke right god. Ooooh noo. I didn't even start and I am already on my boss' hit list.

"Good morning. As mentioned in the mail, you all will be given a task sheet. You can call it as a test sheet. The ones who will score good marks will work right under me, and the rest under the managers. Give them the sheets" his voice holds authority like he owns the place. Well he kind of does.

A moment later we all were provided with a question and an answer booklet. What are we, in school? I looked up frowning at him and he raised a brow as if challenging me. This jerk!

"You all are students, so you obviously know how to write answers in answer sheet" he said looking at me only woahhh "The test will be of an hour. After that you will be introduced to the team and managers, and you will be registered in the company system. From tomorrow you will be joining the work according to your scores. You will receive a details mail by the end of the day" saying he went like the king.

"This way candidates" a man who I guess is the manager takes us to a room where we are told to sit and WRITE the exam. I kmow most of the answers but the thing is, the paper is tooooooooo lengthy.

What else did you expect from The Verma Group Saanvi, there is a reason they are the best. Ok so I will kill the exam. I start writing in full speed with a smile. Because as I continue I know the answers. And the coding questions were interesting as hell. I felt like someone was looking at me but I ignored it because I want to complete the whole paper.

When the time ended I heard people groaning but I smiled. I completed the whole paper. Uhhh my wrist hurts now because of writing at the speed of Rajdhani Express.

After that we were given a tour of the office, we were registered in the system and got our ID cards. Wow I am officially an employee of Verma Group. Ok ok an intern.

The day was crazy, I did make a little conversation with others and they were also nice. I got to know that from my college only I got selected. Finally giving my best in exams and assignment and especially my previous internships turned good for me. I do a dance in my mind.

Then in the evening we all left the office. I was hungry so I decided to have some dabeli at marine drive. Because it's really near from office hehe. I can come anytime I want. Then after watching the beautiful sunset I went back to my apartment.

Now I am just waiting for the mail from the company. I don't want to work under the jerk, but it will be good for me in future.
