Author's POV:

"How did you get the audacity to stand here after whatever you did with Arohi and the kids? Aren't you ashamed of your deeds" Mr. Kensington said with a sharp gaze.

"I..." He couldn't say anything. No words came from his mouth.

"Excuse me? He doesn't need anyone's permission to be here. He is Arohi's husband and the father of the kids" Ritika said with a frown.

"You must be the best friend right?" Mrs. Kensington said with an amused face. "Jesus"

"I am sorry sir but whatever thing is, it is between me and my wife. Which we seem have sorted and moved on from. So it would be better if you don't speak between us" Abhishek said.

"Yeah?" they huffed "Where were you when she was pregnant with your kids and suffering from everything alone? You never cared to look for her even after being such a big businessman. Until a few weeks ago you didn't even know about the kids. Listen youngman Arohi is like a daughter to us and the kids are a blessing. If you hurt them, then I won't think twice before killing you" Mr. Kensington warned him.

Everyone is either reminding Abhishek of his mistakes or Arohi of her decisions. They both want to move on from their past but they are unable to with the constant reminder of this.

"Okay enough. Uncle everything is fine so let's not go back to the past right. We are a happy family now and I don't want our past to affect our present and future please" Arohi said pointedly

Mrs. Kensington patted her head lovingly and nodded in affirmation. They settled on the couch but not before glaring at Abhishek.

The kids were happy to see them as always. The way the kids bonded the the Kensington did hurt Abhishek, Varun and Ritika.

Majorly Ritika was hurt because of the bond Arohi and Caroline had. But who will tell her that Arohi always had one best friend and that was Ritika only. Even Sameer came after Ritika for Arohi.

"Arohi check this one I bought it for you" Caroline said handing the perfume to Arohi.

She applied it and smelled it "It's really good Care. Thank you so much"

"I also want to smell it on your body" Abhishek whispered in her ear and she blushed.

"Ritika you also try. I have one extra" she said with a smile.

"Ahh thank you" she smiled politely.

She smelled the perfume and it was indeed good. Varun held her wrist and sniffed the smell of it.

"You smell too good in this. Apply it often" he whispered in her ear to divert her mind and to tease her a little.

She smirked at him "It's really good but this perfume is not my type. Sorry"

"Oh it's alright. I have many more you can try them out and pick one for yourself" she nodded.

Varun looked at her with a frown. He looked like his favourite chocolate was stolen from him.

Abhishek and Arohi looked at him with amusement while Ritika paid to attention to him.

After whatever happened earlier Arohi made her decision. She is now clear with what she wants and what she should do.

"Ahem I um wanted to te

ll you all something" she said
