Author's POV:

Veena shook her head and was about to leave when Arohi's voice stopped her.

"You saw his pain. His sufferings. But what about me mumma? He had you all but I had none of you. I was all alone with my unborn babies. I know it is all my fault but even I was hurt mumma" Veena turned around to see tears streaming down her daughter's eyes. "How would you react if someone came claiming having a child with papa? I don't think I did anything wrong leaving everything which was suffocating me"

"Arohi..." Veena was cut off.

"No mumma. I am tired of apologising to everyone. I know you all blame me someway or the other but tell me mumma. After I left, did any of you say anything to Abhi? No right. No one blamed him for anything but you blame me. How's it fair mumma!!!" At this point she shouted.

"I suffered more than you can think of. I had to attend college, do multiple jobs to pay my rent, college, medical bills and when the kids were born I had to look after them while having to work hard. It's me who suffered but you can't see that can you?"

Her breathing got harder "It was you guys who forced me to marry a man who didn't want me. I am the one suffering since start but you didn't see that. I love him mumma and I don't want to blame him for anything. We have sorted everything between us but you all are forcing me to blame him"

Veena turned silent, so did the people standing outside of the room.  Everyone was in short of words.

Abhishek rubbed his face cursing himself for letting Veena go to his room when he knew what would happen.

There were so many things they all wanted to say but couldn't. Veena tried to say something but again Arohi cut her off.

"Can you please leave mumma, I want to be alone" she turned and laid down on the bed.

Veena left the room and saw everyone standing there with teary eyes. Her eyes met Indrajeet's and she looked down.

"I am sorry" she whispered.

"She will be fine in sometime maa, please don't worry" Abhishek assured Veena and took everyone back to the living room.

The living room was more lively than it ever was. The room was filled with giggles and laughter of the new generation. The kids were playing with their chahu, masi, bua and mamu.

"Buii chething" the twins said together.

"Haww Ashu didi cheating in front t of the kids. Very bad" Nikhil said in a teasing tone.

"Yesh yesh vely bad" the kids nodded.

"Ayy Nikhil shut up or I'll beat you infront of the kids"

The kids saw their father and ran to him. He smiled and picked them up in his arms.

"What happened to my babies hmm?" He enquired

"Mamu and bui cheating dada" Abhir complained.

"Are they? Then we should punish them right" they both nodded with mischief.

"Hmm we will do that later. Now we need to fill your little tummies" they pouted.

He took them to the kitchen and settled them on the kitchen counter.

"Woww itsh butiful" Abhira said looking around.

"When you will grow up then you can also cook here. Me and mumma will help you learn everything"

"Yayyy"

Abhishek chuckled. He took out a bowl and started preparing the batter for pancakes.

"Abhi the food is already prepared beta. Why are you making it again" Bhavna said.

"I promised them pancakes mom. Unlike their mother they don't like dhokla" he chuckled.

He turned around and stared preparing the pancakes while listening to the kids.

Bhavna smiled looking at her son with his kids. She can see the happiness in his eyes. She still can't believe this is real.

Arohi's words ring in her ears. She wanted to check on Arohi but then dropped the idea. She needs some alone time.

"Whele ish mumma dada?" Abhir asked.

"Yesh we mish her" Abhira replied.

"Mumma is tired baby so she is taking rest" He replied.

"You two must also be tired na, so eat something and then sleep" Bhavna said from behind.

"But we wnt go play" they pouted.

"We will play a lot of games in the evening. For that you need energy" they nodded. "Abhi you feed them, I will prepare the rest"

Abhishek sat in front of the kids and started feeling them. He made a food aeroplane and landed it in their mouth.

Their blabbering didn't stop even after reaching the room after food.

"Okay now let's get your clothes change"

He got them ready in new pair of clothes and then they laid on the bed beside Arohi who was sleeping soundly.

Abhir snuggled to his mother and Abhira to her father. Like this they slept peacefully.

"I promise I will fix everything baby. From now on, our lives will be filled only with happiness" he thought
