PROLONG

Happy Reading!

Scene 1:

The sound of shattering glass broke the silence, echoing through the room. She threw everything she could get her hands on, screaming with all the pain inside her.

Varun stood by the door, his heart aching as he watched her fall apart. Tears welled up in his eyes, but he stayed back, knowing she needed to let it all out.

Finally, she collapsed onto the floor, her sobs filling the room. “Why?” she cried, her voice shaking. “Why is it always me? What did I do to deserve this?”

Varun couldn’t hold back any longer. He walked over, knelt down, and pulled her into his arms. She grabbed his shirt tightly, crying into his chest.

“Stop crying, princess,” he whispered softly. “I’ll make it right. I’ll fix everything.”

She looked up at him, her eyes red and full of pain. “Promise me, Varun. Promise me you’ll make him pay for this.”

“I promise,” he said firmly, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. “He’ll pay for everything. I swear it.”

Scene 2:

The hall was alive with applause, and everyone smiled as the ring ceremony was about to begin. The decorations sparkled under the golden light, and the couple stood ready.

But suddenly, everything stopped. The rings flew into the air and clattered to the floor.

All heads turned to the source of disruption. her eyes blazing with fury, her breath coming in sharp, determined bursts. Without hesitation, she marched up to the man in tuxedo and grabbed him by the collar.

“How dare you?” she yelled, her voice loud and furious, making him flinch “How dare you think of getting engaged?”

“Ritika, stop it!” he snapped, pulling away from her grip. “What are you even doing here?”

Her eyes darted around until she saw a stick nearby. She grabbed it without a second thought and started hitting him.

“I’m doing what I should’ve done long ago!” The man stumbled back, dodging her first swing, but she was relentless. She chased him around the hall, hitting him every chance she got “You think you can marry someone else, and I’ll just watch?”

Finally, he managed to grab the stick and toss it away. “Enough, Ritika!” he yelled, his voice sharp. “You’re not a child anymore. What do you want from me?”

She stopped, her chest heaving. Tears filled her eyes as she glared at him. “I want you, you idiot!” she cried. “I want you because I love you!”

The room went silent. Everyone stared, waiting for what would happen next.
